Our Young Adult community (aged 18 – 29 ish) is an inclusive group that seeks to connect socially and spiritually and build a community that loves, leads and accepts radically. We gather together for lunch after service (around 12:15) in the hall on the first and third Sundays of the month. We also plan outings or activities to gather together in the community. Our first lunch will be shared on Sunday, September 17th then on October 1st and 15th. Lunch is free and you do not need to pre-register. Just show up and bring your friends.
Broad View United has a rich history of involvement with the campus ministry at UVic. Rev. Min-Goo Kang, the new United Church Spiritual Care Provider, collaborates with the Multifaith Spiritual Care team to facilitate various programs that young adults from BVU also participate in.
